Boston Trio Bio
Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe chose the Boston Trio as one of the Best of l998. Since their formation in 1997, the Boston Trio has quickly become one of today's most exciting young piano trios. They enjoy a devoted following in Boston and a steadily growing reputation throughout the United States, as they continue to have brilliant success wherever they play.

The Trio's debut in April 1997 was received with great enthusiasm. Soon after their debut, they were asked to become Trio-in-Residence at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the trio is now the ensemble-in-residence at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, where they perform frequently in Jordan Hall as part of that residency.

They have since been presented by the prestigious FleetBoston Celebrity Series in Jordan Hall; at the Bay Chamber Concerts in Rockport, Maine; twice at Seiji Ozawa Hall in Tanglewood as part of the Tanglewood Prelude Concert Series; the Harvard Musical Association; for several summers in the Rockport Chamber Music Festival in Rockport, MA; at the Maine Center for the Arts, at Brigham Young University in Utah; and at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

After the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001, the trio gave a special benefit concert, in collaboration with the Borromeo String Quartet, in Jordan Hall for the Red Cross. The Boston Trio has also performed in Boston Symphony Orchestra "Prelude" Concerts; at the Rockefeller University in NYC; at the Longy School of Music; the Falmouth Chamber Music Series; Nichols College; the Howland Chamber Music Circle in NY, North Pointe Series in New York; Music on the Hill series in RI, RI College, the Fitchburg Performing Arts Series; the Stockbridge Summer Music Series; and as soloist with the Newton Symphony, performing Beethoven's "Triple Concerto".

The Boston Trio released a CD in March 2000 with trios by Ravel, Brahms, and Suk, and also have been guests for numerous occasions on the WGBH-radio programs "Classics in the Morning" and "Classical Performances".

The trio has coached chamber music at the Tanglewood Institute of Music, and individually the members of the trio serve on the faculties of the New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory and MIT.

In the 2002-03 season, the Boston Trio made its New York debut at Merkin Hall, as well as performances at MIT Kresge Auditorium, Harvard University's Sanders Theatre, a collaboration with the Bill T. Jones Dance Company in Shubert Theatre, a tour of Utah, and concerts at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In the spring of 2004, The Boston Trio traveled to Belgrade, Serbia to perform at the Kolarac Foundation Hall. Other concerts in the 2003-04 season included a return engagement to the Harvard Musical Association, Kalliroscope Gallery concert at the Indian Hill Music Center in Groton, the fourth appearance at the Rockport Chamber Music Festival, as well as more WGBH live performances.
